Student Instructions
Your task is to teach other students about our native animals by creating an Information Text. You can use any of the tools on Seesaw to help you.
1. Take a photo of an Australian animal.
2. Use the
tool to enlarge the photo.
3. Use the
to label all the special features on your animal's body. (Eg. Long or short legs, an unusual bill, long ears, a pouch or a special tail. ) Make sure you use adjectives to describe the features.
4. Include information boxes about its habitat. what it eats (diet), babies, is it a nocturnal or does it move about during the day? (Include as much information as you can.)
5. Add a
background but make sure it won't take the students' attention away from your information.
6. Check your spelling.
7.
Upload your work.
Teacher Notes (not visible to students)
If you aren't in Australia, you could just copy and edit this by changing the country name and the photo. We are doing it on paper first. If there is too much to type in the information boxes, the students could take a photo of each part of their writing and insert the information that way.
