Student Instructions

Hello Artists! I hope you remember the primary colors, are still making healthy choices on foods to eat and noticing the colors all around you! Today, I would like you to draw a self-portrait. A self-portrait is a picture of just you. I only want you to draw your head and shoulders. If you are not good at drawing faces, break it up in easy shapes and symbols you know. For example, a good way to draw a nose, if you only know how to use a dot, use the capital letter "L." For eyes, make a rainbow arch at the top and add a circle in for the center of your eyes. For your lips, think of a banana shape. Look at yourself while drawing also helps. Once you created your self-portrait, take a photo and place it on SeeSaw under the ART folder. I am very excited to see your pictures of your self!
