Shape Poem - My Handy Hands Can...

Grades: 3rd Grade, 2nd Grade
Subjects: English Language Arts, Writing

Student Instructions

You are going to write a shape poem! 1. On the first page, use the label tool to write a list of different things that you can do with your hands. 2. On a piece of paper, use a pencil to lightly trace your hand. 3. Use your list to give you ideas and write your poem around the edge of your drawing. Look at the example to see how this should look. Make sure your poem goes all the way around your hand. 4. Edit your poem. 5. Write a title for your poem at the top of the page. 6. Take a photo of your poem and upload it to seesaw on the second page.
