Instructions for Pupils

Look around the room for Halloween pictures matching the ones on your recording sheet. When you find one, write the beginning sound of the smaller pictures next to the Halloween picture you found on your recording sheet. Once you have cracked the code for all the pictures, grab a pair of scissors and cut out the word family pictures at the bottom of your recording sheet. Use a glue stick to glue them next to their matching words. When you are finished take a picture of your sheet and recording yourself tracking as you read the real words you found.
