Teachers, save “Writing station-Acrostic Poem” to assign it to your class.

1. Choose a word or topic you want to write about. 2. In your writing journal brainstorm a list of words that describe the word. Words should start with the same letters in the word or topic. 3. Write the word vertically on your paper. 4. Each word or phrase has to begin with the letter that is in the word and it must make sense. 5. Use I cups card to edit your poem. 6. Write the final draft of your poem on colored paper or use a digital tool of your choice to write your poem. 7. Save your poem to Seesaw and use the recording studio to record yourself reading your poem. Make sure that you go back listen to yourself reading the poem.
