We have learned that everything is made of matter, and matter can be changed. PHYSICAL change is when the shape, size or form of matter is changed, but no new kind of matter is created. CHEMICAL change is when a new kind of matter is made. Clues to a chemical change include: - new smell - light created - heat created or used - gas formed (like bubbles) - change in colour The kitchen is a great place to see changes in matter happening! 1.
