Student Instructions

Before the winter holidays, we experimented with lots of different forces and recorded our findings as lab reports. Here is another experiment for you to try at home. If you want you can write up your experiment as a lab report OR you can focus on just recording the results and conclusion - it's up to you! Question: which parachute size stays in the air the longest? Step 1: Make two parachutes following the directions in the instructional video - two different size parachutes (this is your variable!) Step 2: Click add Step 3: Fill in the lab report using the label tool or mic Pages 2 and 3 are OPTIONAL. Step 4: Perform the experiment - drop both parachutes from the same height. Step 5: After watching the Play with Parachutes video, write your conclusion using scientific forces vocabulary. Step 6: Click check to send to your teacher and add to your journal.
