In the article, The Problem With That Equity Versus Equality Graphic That You Are Using, we know that there was a challenge to find a graphic that was the best example of equity. This is the graphic created by Salomé Chimuku that the Family Leadership Design Collaborative chose as the First place winner for an equity graphic. She felt that equity "isn't about watching baseball". This is a series of cartoon portraits of people who describe equity. Pick your favorite quote and type it into the text box, then draw your own interpretation of the quote in the frame provided, and explain via video what your interpretation means. To parents: feel free to discuss these quotes with your children as best aligns with your home values. If you have any questions, please email me at ssaid@emsacharter.org.
