On National National Simultaneous Storytime over a million kids all around Australia read the same story at the same time. This year's story is called 'Family Tree' by Josh Pyke. Once you have read the story complete the activities in the example attached. Enjoy!

Hi Teachers Here are a variety of slides with activities based on the NSS Text 'Family Tree' by Josh Pyke. I imagined they may be suitable for a literacy rotation / literacy contract type activity to follow the reading of the text. Add to and delete the slides as you see fit for your students. There are originals in the multimedia example and coppies in the template section (for kids to draw on) so don't forget to delete the slides you don't want from both. I hope they are helpful.
