Place Value: Chart

Click on the add response. Look at the example provided on how to place 3 468. Notice that the Thousands are made up of 3 sections that include hundreds, tens and ones just like the Ones column has. The example shows that the digit 3 in this example of 3 468 belongs in the 'ones' under the thousands. If we had the number 25 672, we would put a 2 in the 'tens' column under the Thousands and we would also have a 7 in the 'tens' column under the ones. Now try placing the following numbers in the template chart below. In the first box, write 3 hundred thousand, 21 ten thousands, five hundred thirty two. In the second box, write 9 hundred thousand, seventy-five one thousands, 46 tens and 8 ones. In the third box, write 75 one thousands, 628 ones.The last chart, you can pick any number you like to answer the question.
