We’re going to work together in small groups to sort the emojis into two boxes, one for kind emojis and one for unkind emojis. Then, we’ll count how many are in each group and write the number underneath using our finger as a pen. There are 10 emojis on the page. Drag each emoji into the box where it belongs. Support children as they sort the emojis. Encourage talk: “What do you think this emoji is feeling?”
“Would you like to get a message with that emoji?”
“Which ones make you feel happy?”
