option to reflect on the story read
4. Questions to respond to;
- Why did this child leave their homeland?
- What are some differences between their homeland and their new home?
- How do they feel about their new home?
- How would you feel if you were in this child's position?
- What else can you share about this story that resonated with you?
5. Respond to 2 other students from your connecting class. Share one thing you liked about their response, one thing you might have questions about, and one way you might connect to their response.
