We will be looking at the YUMMY art of Wayne Thiebaud! We will discuss drawing shortened cylinders with curved bottoms and ellipse tops to represent cupcakes. We will then draw curving cupcake tops & add our favorite colors/flavors. For an even more exciting project we will turn this into a CLAY CUPCAKE container! The bottom will be a clay pinch pot pressed into a silicone cupcake liner to give it a cupcake look & texture. Then we will use a clay coil method for the cupcake top. When we have completed both we will paint them to look like scrumptious cupcakes!
