We are going to calculate the length of day for Friday, March 6th. The approximate sunrise time for Friday, March 6th is 6:37 am. Sunset is expected to be at 6:05 pm. This weekend we will be turning our clocks an hour ahead or "Springing Ahead," so we'll lose an hour of sleep, but in return, we'll gain daylight. Next week we will have to look for a difference in our length in day. Please work with a partner to take familiar jumps to you to find the length of day. You may use any tools you would like to show your work. When you finish, please use the tool to explain your jumps to tell me how you got the answer you did.
