Recreate a Famous Picture or Photo

Grades: 12th Grade, 11th Grade, 10th Grade
Subjects: Drama, Character Building, English Language Arts

Student Instructions

Work with your partner or group to pose like a famous photo, picture, or painting that others in your class might recognize! 1. Take think time with your partner or group and brainstorm what picture you can recreate. 2. Hint: it might depend on the number of people you are working with. For example, if you have four people in your group, try to think of a famous foursome! 3. Use the space and materials available to you as you stage your photo. Everyone in your group should be visible in your photo. 4. One person can tap add. 5. Ask your teacher or someone not in your group to use your device to press photo and take your group picture. 6. Tap check to add to seesaw. Later your teacher can edit your item to tag others in the photo. LEVEL UP: If you have time, use another digital tool or application to blend your photo with the actual picture you were trying to recreate. See the collage included in the example photo for inspiration.
