In this activity, you will practice counting vertices and sides to help you describe the attributes of a shape and to identify what that shape is! First, watch the video on page 1 where you will see how Ms. Elaine is doing it. Then, go to page 2. Turn on first Use the to make dots on the vertices - count the vertices out loud! Use the pre-made lines to help you count the sides or use the to draw the lines - count the sides out loud! Stop the by tapping the Go to page 3 and repeat the same steps Supporting adults: You can support your child by using the correct terms such as vertices, vertex, straight sides.
