Teachers, save “Pitch Exploration: Harold and the Purple…” to assign it to your class.

Here is an activity to accompany the book Harold and the Purple Crayon or to accomplish a Pitch Exploration. 1. Tap the add button. 2. Use the drawing tool to draw a line with a purple crayon just like Harold. You can make the line go up and down and all around. You can also change the color of your crayon! 3. Tap the green check button when you have drawn your line. 4. Tap the microphone to record you singing your line. Look at the example if you need help. Sometimes it helps to sing and trace the line first before you record. 5. Tap the red square button when you are done recording. 6. Tap the green check button twice to add to your journal. Enjoy!
