Materials 3 paper clips per group centimeter ruler per group centimeter cubes for each group baggie of shells per group (1 shell that is 1 paperclip long, 1 shell that is 2 paperclips long, and 1 shell that is 3 paperclips long) Science and Engineering Practices in the NGSS 4.
