Please help them to notice that when we count by 2's we say 0, 2, 4, 6, 8 and then all of the other numbers follow the same pattern. They all end in either 0, 2, 4, 6, 8. Let's keep counting and explore this. 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10,12, 14, 16, 18, 20. Wow, the pattern works! We will explore this on a hundreds chart soon!

Bridges 1st Grade Math Curriculum Unit 1 Module 1 Popsicle Chart, Part 1 To keep students in Seesaw for this activity, I took a screencast of Jack Hartman's song, but included his name at the bottom of the video to give him credit. If the video was linked, students would leave Seesaw and need to come back to complete the activity. We are still working on this so early on in the school year.
