Word problems #12

Grades: 2nd Grade
Subjects: Math

Student Instructions

Word Problem Homework 1. It is a great idea for the kids to READ the STEPS and problems out loud (especially struggling readers). This can be very helpful with reading practice. Reading the answer they write out loud is also good practice. 2. This is also good writing, grammar, and handwriting practice. All answers should be legible, have capitals and periods, be complete sentences that use words from the question or story and have any word that is in the questions or story spelled correctly. For example: If the question is, “How many cookies did Beth and Jose have in all?” Then the answer should be, “Beth and Jose have 136 cookies in all.” Or “They have 136 cookies in all.” (It is okay to use pronouns). 3. The kids need to show their math work. Thank you so much! (: 2nd Grade Team
