Blues Bustin Music

Research has demonstrated that music is a great way to lift your spirits and bring back some happy memories. Find one of your favorite songs, with appropriate lyrics of course, and share it here on Seesaw. This is a technology challenge that you will do using PowerPoint. If you do not have access to PowerPoint please take a look at the note at the bottom of this page. 1. Open PowerPoint and choose a Design Theme that you like. Title the slide "My Blues Bustin Tune". 2. Select the two column format where you can insert an image, a video or voice recording, and an image 3. In the right column include an image of the song/artist; in the left column include a picture of yourself listening to the song (a selfie is fine) or a video of you playing/listening to the song. 4. Insert your song as an Audio File in the text box to the right. 5. Insert your voice recording or video in the text box to the left. Make sure you select Playback so you can hide the sound icon and have it play automatically. Your recording should include the name of the song, the artist, and make sure you explain why you chose the song and how/why it busts your blue mood! 6. Now go to the Animation Pane to make sure that your explanation plays before your song. Click on Slide Presentation to view before the final step. Fix any errors you find. 7. Save the PowerPoint slide as a video (MP4) 8. Upload video NOTE: If you do not have access to PowerPoint, you can do this using the Seesaw App. Take a video or voice recording of yourself explaining the same information...name of song, artist, why you chose the song, and how/why it is your own personal blues buster. Then have the song begin playing in the background. There are other options, of course, so be creative!
