This week your spellings are words that end in either -able or -ible. Remember: 1. Most words ending in –ible don’t have an obvious root word: vis + ible = visible terr + ible = terrible 2. Most words ending in -able do have an obvious root word: consider + able = considerable reason + able = reasonable 3. More words end in -able than -ible. There are two spelling frame links this week on spellingframe.co.uk - one for -able (code 81999) and the other for -ible (code 81998) Complete the look/say/cover/write/check spelling sheet and there is also a wordsearch for -ible words to complete too.
