Student Instructions

This week, we are talking about the letter G or g. G makes two different sounds: sometimes it sounds like the “g” in “go” or “give” and sometimes it sounds more like a “j” like in “giraffe” or “giant.” This week we are talking about the “g” sound. (We will talk about the “j” sound in a few weeks.). See if you can find all of the words that start with the “g” sound. A girl had a birthday party and invited all of her friends that start with G. She asked them all to give her presents that start with G, too! 1. Click on add to open your journal. 2. On each page, find the gift that starts with the "g" sound and use the move tool to move it to the empty square in the sentence. 3. Click on the mic and record yourself reading the sentence. 4. When you are finished, click check to show us your work.
