Student Instructions

Australia and America have different dates in their history books about when man landed on the moon, Australia says it was 21st July 1969 but America says it was 20th July 1969. How can this be when Apollo 11 only landed there once? 1. Use the World Clock feature on your Ipad to find the time in New South Wales (use Sydney) and the time in Florida, (use Miami.) 2. Take a photo screenshot, then go to seesaw and upload it. 3. Use the World Clock to solve the question and use the label tool to show your answer. 4. Use the rec tool to explain.

Teacher Notes (not visible to students)

It is easier for students to work out the time difference if they edit and remove all clocks except the two needed. If using a laptop, Google World Clock or use this link: https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/
