Teacher Notes (not visible to students)

Advancing Media Literacy begins with understanding what Media actually is. We have modes of communication like the mailing a letter, making a phone call or sending a telegram and some of the tools used to communicate are considered Mass Media tools. These are the kinds of Media that has the potential to reach millions of people in thousands of different locations at once! This is a simple slide show where students can work with a friend and decide..."Is this Media?" Please contact me if you have any comments, suggestions or questions! ltorrey@scarsdaleschools.org
