Grades: Kindergarten, 1st Grade
Subjects: Reading

Student Instructions

You have learned about using the five-finger rule to help you choose a book that's just right for you. You will need to choose a book from the classroom library before starting this activity. Tap add. Tap photo. Take a picture of a page in the book you picked. Tap check. On the next page, use the drawing tool to circle words on the page that you do not know. Count how many words you circled. Did you have five words that were too hard for you? If you did, you will need to choose another book. Tap check to turn in your circled page. Choose your animal and your name and tap check so your teacher and friends can see your work! If you have time, you may do this activity again with another book.
