When you get back:

take a picture to show what you found for each category. You can

write a label to tell about your items.
Record yourself telling about what you found on each page.

This activity matches NGSS 1-PS4-3. This can be done after a lesson and teacher modeling about how to use a flashlight to determine if items are transparent, translucent, and opaque. The images of transparent, translucent, and opaque come from a freebie off the TpT page of Brittany Larsen.
