Scholastic Learn at Home - Day 5 Spring

Click on the link and go to the activities for Day 5. Read the fiction book And Then It's Spring. Read the non-fiction book How Do You Know It's Spring? Watch the video "The Sounds of Spring." Then click on the "Movement Song: Soil, Water, Air, and Light." Read the directions then come back to Seesaw to draw and label your picture. Learn what plants need to live and grow by sharing this fun movement song. Try singing the song over and over, going faster each time! Soil, Water, Air and Light (Sing to the tune of “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes”) Soil (Point down) Water (Pour water) Air (Wiggle fingers in air) and light (Point up) Air and light. Soil, water, air and light, Air and light. (Repeat actions from first verse) These things make a plant grow right! (Crouch down and “grow” up) Soil, water, air and light, Air and light! Go back to Seesaw - draw and label a picture of a plant with all the things it needs to grow.
