Student Instructions

Follow the steps: 1) Choose one place to take a virtual field trip. Watch the videos, explore the site, and think about what you're learning, noticing, and observing. Ellis Island: http://teacher.scholastic.com/activities/immigration/webcast.htm Norris Geyser at Yellowstone Park: https://www.nps.gov/thingstodo/yell-norris-geyser-basin-trails.htm Georgia Aquarium: https://www.georgiaaquarium.org/webcam/ocean-voyager/ San Diego Zoo: https://kids.sandiegozoo.org/videos 2) Dive a little deeper- do a little more on the place you visited. What makes this place so special to visit? Why is it a popular destination? What can people do and see at the place you visited? What do you think is the most exciting part of this place? 3) Create a brochure (a little booklet with information) teaching people about the place you visited. Give the big details that I listed above, and think about including some visuals as best you can.
