Student Instructions

(NOTE: There will be parts of this Periodic Table that are not colored.) Use the drawing and label tools to help you label the Periodic Table. 1. Tap the add button. 2. Tap the drawing tool. Fill in the noble gases with blue Fill in the transition metals with red Fill in the alkaline earth metals with orange. Fill in the halogens with green. Fill in the inner transition elements purple. (The inner transition elements are the two rows at the bottom – seemingly separated from the rest of the Periodic Table.) Fill in the alkali metals yellow. (Hydrogen is not considered an alkali metal.) 3. Tap the label tool and Write the number of each group at the top of the column (1 – 18). 4. Tap the check to add to your portfolio.
