Mrs. Kenyon's Play Dough Recipe

Make your own Play Dough! Recipe: 1.5 cups of water 1/2 cup salt Boil water, take off stove & add salt- stir to dissolve the salt If using crayons to color, add here as crayons need to melt If adding food color, add here or after you mix If scenting with essential oil or another sent, add here Add 2 cups of flour, 2 tablespoons of cream of tartar, 3 tablespoons of cooking oil Mix - it should thicken up. Once mixture is difficult to mix with spoon, take out of container and knead with hands Store in airtight container for up to 6 months Note: If mixture is very wet, add in more flour. If mixture is crumbly, add in more oil Please go to the template and add a of you playing with your play dough- be sure to tell me what you like best about play dough!
