Teacher Notes (not visible to students)

We talk about red light/ green light shelves in our library. Red light shelves have books out of place, pushed back, upside down or on the shelf backwards or laying on the floor. Green light shelves have the books standing up straight, spine labels at the bottom and books where they should be. This activity is used with our kindergarten students to show what they know and share ways that they can help to keep our library organized. You can easily swap out the pictures in this activity to show examples from your library or classroom. #Library #LibraryScience
