Student Instructions

Learning to explore and have fun with Microbit online. Remember you can press the orange tick draft at any time to save your progress if you are not ready to hand it in. 1. Press add add to start your activity. Have a look through the 3 pages so you know what is coming up. 2. Page 2: Watch the video on Page 2 and record mic your answer. 3. Page 3: Click on the link (top left of page) which will open the Microbit MakeCode webpage. Start the Flashing Heart tutorial. 4. Page 3: Answer the question (bottom left of activity) 5. Page 3: Capture the evidence of your coding in the simulator if you can. Put the evidence on the right side of the page. 6. When complete, press the green tick check to send the activity to me EXTRA: You can try some other tutorials. Have fun exploring!

Teacher Notes (not visible to students)

A first experience with Microbit online. Note teachers that you can set up a Microbit online class to track the pupils but that it needs to left open to save the ongoing progress. Not so useful for remote learning.
