Let's create our own timeline about a famous African American! Click to start your response. Click on the in the instructions to access the list of African American biographies on Ducksters. Choose someone new to learn about (you cannot choose Louis Armstrong, Josephine Baker, or Michael Jackson). Read slowly for understanding (you can also scroll down and click the play triangle and Ducksters will read the biography to you. On the response slide, click in the large rectangle at the top of the page and type in the name of the person you chose. Then, use the tool to fill in 5 major events in the person's life in order in the other small rectangles. YOU MUST START WITH WHEN THEY WERE BORN. If they have died, you should add that as the last event on the timeline. You should look for major events in the passage to help you. Double-check your work for accuracy and click to send in your response.
