Grades: 4th Grade, 6th Grade, 5th Grade

Student Instructions

This week we began learning about Martin Luther King Jr: his life, his beliefs, his 'Big Words' and his 'Dream'. Dr. King is just one of the many influential people throughout history. One of the best ways to learn more about a specific person is to read a biography or autobiography about them. For this reading log, choose a person you would like to learn more about, read a biography/autobiography about them and share the following information: 1. What is the book you read? 2. Why did you want to learn about this person? 3. List three basic facts about your person (birthday, location, occupation) and three interesting things you learned. 4. Share two questions you would ask this person if you ever had the chance to meet them. 5. Answer the question, "How would the world be different if this person had not been born?" Be creative with your response: a video, an audio clip, a note, a Google Doc, create a Thinglink or BookSnap....the possibilities are endless!
