Wednesday, May 13th, 2020 For this task you are going to choose a 📖 picture book and use the picture on the cover and your imagination to tell a story. For this task we are not going to focus on the text in the book but instead our own imaginations! Instructions: 1. Watch the example provided. 2. add Tap the add button. 3. photo Take a photo of your book cover. 4. mic Tap the mic to record your story. 5. check Tap the check to add to your journal. 👨‍👧 The Why: This task is designed for students to use their imagination to tell a story. Storytelling in a great oral communication skill. This task also allows students to be creative and use their inference skills as well! Storytelling puts the whole brain to work. It supports creativity, empathy, sequencing and story structure knowledge. Pictures in books help with visual literacy skills, improving vocabulary, and overall comprehension.
