• Look at the Silly Snake. Choose an item as a unit to measure with. • How long do you think the snake is? Make a prediction and write it down. Measure the length of the snake by lining up the same items end-to-end along the length of the snake. Write down your measure. • How close was your prediction to your measure? • Repeat the activity using a different item as the unit. • What do you notice about your two measures? There are two pages.
