Student Instructions
1. Press when you are ready to begin.
2. Read your mentor sentence on page 1.
3. Page 2: Write your DAY "NOTICES." What type of sentence is it ? What kind of sentence is it? Do you see any figurative language? Any vivid verbs or awesome adjectives?
4. Page 3: Rewrite/type the mentor sentence and label ALL PARTS of speech. Use the
tool to drag and drop the parts of speech stickers.
5. Page 4: Revise the sentence to make it better. Add more adjectives, change verbs, etc.
6. Page 5: Imitate or "Mimic" your mentor sentence. Keep the structure the same but create your own mentor sentence.
