NOTE: This is to be completed over a number of lessons, each page of the template should take 1 whole lesson. You need to spend a number of lessons completing the planning steps in the template prior to starting the build! Complete the brainstorms in the template with lots of detail. The better your planning, the better the final product. Talk to your parents about materials and tools, don't do this alone! TASK: Design and create a model of a suspension bridge that will hold the weight of two small plastic/toy cars. PROJECT IDEAS: -Craft stick and tape bridge -Cardboard and wool bridge -Cardboard cylinder bridge -Straw bridge Learning Intention: We are learning to follow the S.T.E.M. design process. Success Criteria: I can brainstorm and plan a solution to a task. I can create and follow a set of steps.
