Student Instructions
Today you will be playing Write and Divide to practice the dividing by 9 fact strategy. Your goal is to play for 5-10 minutes and cover each of the numbers that you write in the boxes. .
1. Click button to start.
2. Read the direction for how to play that game on page
1. Go to the second page
to play the game.
3. Use the
pen tool to write the numbers 1-10 in the boxes, filling each box with the number of your choice.
4. Click play ▶️ and pause
on the spinner to spin. Then divide the number that you spin by 9. Repeat this process for each spin.
5. Say each fact aloud as you solve it.
6. If the quotient to your fact is in one of the boxes you filled in, use the
move tool to cover the number with a disk. You may only cover one number on each spin and the goal is to cover all of the numbers you wrote.
7. On the last page
, click the microphone
and read each fact aloud with the answer. If you are not sure of the answer share your thinking. You may use
Seesaw tools to show your work.
8. Click
the check to submit your game.
