Mrs Nish is from Melbourne, Australia. This is part of a series of desk drumming tasks. Please check my library for more. 7's is a popular table drumming game used in music and drama classes. I am unsure of origin, but its been around for a while! There are different variations on the sequences, and I have just used the one I know best. 7's is great in classes/groups done as a round. It is good for concentration and blocking out distractions to practise on your 'role'. Ideally, each sequence is completed twice, before moving on and when performed in groups, a new person starts ever 7 counts. If needed- type in 7's percussion game or similar into Youtube and there are multiple videos to view, however, some will show different sequences, particular from sequences 5, 6 & 7.
