First Listen to the Story of Spookley the Square Pumpkin Then discuss and answer these questions. How is Spookley different from the other pumpkins? How did the other pumpkins feel about Spookley? What happened to the other pumpkins when the storm came? What did Spookley do once he was blown into the fence? The next day, when the Farmer found Spookley what did he decide to do with his crop the next year? It is ever okay to make fun of someone who is different from you? Can words be hurtful? How can we help others, who may be different than us, feel accepted? Pick the question that means the most to you and answer it on the lined paper template. Then get ready to craft a Unique Pumpkin of your own.
