Procedural text often has transitional words. Take out your writing journal and turn to your procedural writing. Let's revise our piece by adding transitional words.

This is a lesson for students to assist them in choosing transitional words for the steps in their procedural writing. It is to be used after the steps are written on a graphic organizer and during the rough draft stage of the writing process, where revisions are made to student writing.
