Overview: Grades 3-5 This Activity promotes flexibility in math and ensures students are understanding multiple strategies to solve the same problem. **Modify this Activity for K-2 by giving students an addition or subtraction problem to 10 (Example: 2+7=?) How to use this activity: 1. Students listen to and view the example on page 1 2. Teachers can edit the example on page 1 or the math problem on page 2 to best suit what students are currently learning **Pro Tip: duplicate page 2 to add more problems to this activity! Materials: In addition to paper and pencil, teachers can also supply students with manipulatives to use to support problem solving.
