We Are Learning To: Read aloud using expression 1. Read or listen to Chapter 5. 2. Pick a section of this chapter to narrate (read out loud), using the microphone button. (Minimum – half a page. Maximum – one page.) 3. Practice reading this section out loud a few times before you record yourself. Make sure you start at the beginning of a sentence and finish at a full stop. 4. Record your narration. Focus on reading with expression. Think about whether your voice needs to change in tone or pace to match the text. Think about where to take pauses so your reading flows nicely. Upload to SeeSaw. Make sure you use the +Response button under the correct activity in the Activities section.
