Get Creative - Paper Playground

Grades: Kindergarten, Other, Pre-K
Subjects: Art, Home Learning

Student Instructions

It's time to get creative! You will need: 1. A piece of paper or cardboard (as the base) 2. Long thin strips of paper (a parent could cut these for you if it’s too tricky) 3. Some glue (a gluestick would probably be best, but not necessary) Using the pre-cut strips of paper explore ways to bend, fold, roll, curl or twist it. Then use glue to stick parts of the paper down onto your page. Create your very own Paper Playground. This will turn into an incredible 3D artwork. When you have finished, upload a photo photo of your artwork. If you want to tell us about it too, you could use the mic microphone to record your description. Have fun!

Teacher Notes (not visible to students)

This activity will allow students to refine their fine motor coordination through the manipulation of paper in interesting and creative ways.
