Explore the work of Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849). Best known for his wood block prints of Mount Fuji, Hokusai was a hugely influential artist on international tastes for Japanese art. The paintings selected here include The Great Wave off Kanagawa, along with some lesser known works that capture his style. 1. Tap link to visit the interactive Doodle Hokusai activity. 2.
