In our novel, Esperanza Rising, Marta and her crew are trying to rally support from other workers to strike. Today, we read about workers rights and the role of labor unions. Think about all you have learned about working conditions, wages, and benefits as well as what is going on in the USA during the 1930's and find at least three reasons why Esperanza (and her extended family) should strike, and at least three reasons why they should not strike.
