Marble Experiment

Good Morning! At your seat you have a set of Marbles and a ruler. Let’s explore! Use your seesaw tools to document your experiment, your observations, and conclusions. 1. Line up two marbles in the middle and one marble at the edge. What happens when you flick one marble towards the two marbles in the center? 2. Repeat the experiment with different configurations of marbles (like shooting 2 at 3). What patterns do you see emerging from your experiment? 3. What happens if a larger marble is flicked at the smaller marbles? Make a prediction based on the patterns you observed already, then try it out!
