Teachers, save “🇪🇸 🇪🇸 Spanish Speaking Countries/Spanish…” to assign it to your class.

Hola! Today’s Spanish lesson has two separate tasks. See below for details on each. Task 1 Create an original flag collage by searching the flags from the 21 Spanish speaking countries (see picture attached for these countries!). You could screen grab pictures of flags and create a collage on Seesaw. You could create one on Word or PowerPoint. You could draw the flags and create a collage of your own on paper if you would like some time away from the screen. Please make sure you label each flag with its country’s name. Please upload a photo/screenshot of your collage to the pupil response sheet. Task 2 Download the Duolingo app and begin the free lessons available on there, picking Spanish as the language you would like to learn. If you don’t have a device that allows you to download apps, you can complete the lessons on a web browser although the app is more user friendly. It may ask you to set up an account. For this, you would need an email address. This is really quick and easy. You could use either your own Glow email address or you could ask someone at home to help you set this up. Duolingo is absolutely free, although they may try and encourage you to download Duolingo plus which is not free. There is no need to do that.
